The White Rose Schutzhund Club are proud to be hosting a Schutzhund Obedience and Protection seminar by the world renowned Horst and Micheala Knoche

Venue Highgate Greyhound Stadium, Goldthorpe, Rotherham

Dates 16^th and 17^th July

A very brief resume of their achievements are detailed below.

Horst and Michaela Knoche have been active in Schutzhund sport since 1976 (Horst) and 1988 (Michaela).

A little bit of background information about Michaela and Horst. Under their Kennel name “Vom Talka Malda” they have bred 13 litters. The J litter was one of their most successful, with Javier, John and Jemma taking part at the Bundessieger prufung.

Horst and Michaela’s aim is to breed and own a dog that is a reliable companion, who has an intelligent and lively outlook, sound in movement, driven and has the character and the ability to be a good service and sport dog. Their view is that whilst you can see many of these traits in a young dog throughout his training, he can only really prove himself when in a competition at regional trials and above. This will show that he is capable of proving himself when under pressure, regardless of the results, at this stage they are not a priority. This will however show them he suitable to be bred from, as this is of major importance along with the dog’s anatomy, meet the breed standard in height, be sound and comfortable in his walk, trot and canter and be of good colouring.

4x 1^st at the Team World Championship
1 x 2^nd at the Team World Championship
15 x active competitors at the BSP
5 x active competitors at the WUSV WM
Winner of the 7 counties Championship
3rd at the Bundes FCI
10^th at the VDH German Championships
